The Native Planet Classic, held in the breathtaking North Cascades, is an
exciting fun-filled event for cyclists and non-cyclists alike. It’s a unique
opportunity to enjoy both the great company of the participants AND the charming
Western ambience of Winthrop, WA. There’s also a complete range of
accommodations there from tent camping to a sophisticated resort, so it makes a
perfect weekend getaway for cyclists, spouses and friends.
Just as important though, is that it is the primary source for funding for
Native Planet, an international non-profit organization that facilitates the
self-empowerment of traditional peoples worldwide. The pledges raised during
this ride provide more than 75% of the funding for our on-site malaria control
work and other projects in Indonesia.
